Cub Scout Program Overview:The Cub Scout program is designed for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 5th grade (ages 5–10). Order of the Arrow Overview:The Order of the Arrow (OA) is the national honor society of Scouting America. It recognizes Scouts and Scouters who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Scout Law through cheerful service, leadership, and a commitment to helping others.Purpose of the Order of the Arrow:The OA seeks to:Promote a lifelong commitment to cheerful service.Develop leaders through service and fellowship.Recognize those who demonstrate outstanding Scout spirit.Support camping and outdoor programs.Strengthen Scouting units and local councils.Membership:Youth members are elected by fellow Scouts in their troop, while adult members are selected for their ability to support the OA's purpose and serve Scouting.
