A service project is a special “Good Turn” that puts Scout spirit into action. Service is Scouting’s greatest legacy and the primary reason that the Boy Scouts of America is the world’s premier youth organization.
Service project information is entered at the National BSA Good Turn For America/National JTE Service Project website.
NOTE: This site requires a separate username and password. You will need your Unit ID Number. The site will ask you for the date of the service project, number of youth members and non-youth members participating, number of adults leaders and other adults participating, total hours, what organization the project was for and a brief description of the project.
Service is part of our Journey to Excellence program. You can now enter your service hours online at the Journey to Excellence website. Under the “Service Projects” area of the screen, you can find the link to log your hours, information for first-time users, ideas and tips for a successful service project, and sample reports that can be pulled by your council administrator.
To enter your service hours click on “Service Hours website.” Choose “New User Click Here,” or enter your username and password.
